Always a classic, but I cant tell if I am in "flag" mode or regular touch and clear mode. There should be a flag that pops up, or the flag button turns red when you are in flag mode. Several times I thought I was flagging a square, but I actually tried to clear it and, of course, lost the game!
Does anyone know when Neuroshima Hex is going to be posted to the app store?
Whats the difference between this and the original release of this?
Very frustraiting!!! Not well adapted for touch screen. You will waste most of your time tapping the same square repeatedly, trying to get it to do what you want. If you enjoy speeding through this game, YOU WILL ABSOLUTLY HATE this app!
There are quite a few versions of minesweeper available for the iPad. This version is pretty solid and has good gameplay. In the free version you have small ads, and can only play at the beginner or medium settings. It has an in-app purchase to upgrade (currently $0.99). Nothing to complain about, just a good classic rendition.
It is too different. I understand there should be upgrades but I thought it was to strange to handle. Another thing was that my touch screen on my iPad is very clean and calibrated, so it is not my device thats the problem. This app is messed up.
The app is not responsive and wastes your time trying to tap on a cell or navigating on the menu tab Working with the tabs is awful It keeps running on the beginners tab after playing in the expert mode! It is so aggravating. I didnt have this problem initially, though
There are parts where it should say 2 but it only says 1. Thats a big problem.
Love the game and havent had the problems mentioned, but recently the customize menu is stuck on the screen and the rotate screen works off and on.
This is probably the ugliest app Ive ever seen. No effort was made in design or layout. It looks like a PC. Plus, for such a simple game its painfully slow. What could this app possibly have to process? Definitely not graphics. However, it is fun and addicting. But thats the nature of the game and nothing to do with this poorly written app.
Needs pause, better box selection, and faster flag placement
Great job. One request: Can the developer make it harder to accidentally dig? Ive lost twice because my finger accidentally tapped a square.
Is not as sensitive as it needs to be, which slows down your ability to beat the game at any difficulty. My best time on Expert on the iPhone version is 115 seconds while my best time on the iPad version is 142 seconds.... The game, also, does not register my new high scores when I start a new game by pressing the smiley face. I have to start a new game through the game menu in order to have it register my new high scores. Make the game more responsive And fix the high score issue and I will gladly give this App 5 stars.
Great app, well adapted for touch screen, but when I press purchase full version, it doesnt do anything!! Very frustrated, please help.
Several games Ive played have had wrong numbers.
I too at first thought the expert level was too hard, but once I played a while longer and figured out more ways to not have to guess, I started being able to beat the expert level fairly often. My best time on expert level is 237 and Im sure thats just so-so compared to the real minesweeper sharks, but Im happy. If you cant beat that level at all, then either youre not trying very hard or youre not as smart or good at it as you think you are. Sorry if the truth hurts! Also, to those who say that some numbers are wrong, sorry, but youre just not very good. The numbers are always right, but it lets you plant flags where you DONT need one without ending the game. The game ends only when you uncover a mine. This is why its possible to think youve won the game but the clock is still ticking--you have one too many flags somewhere.
I cant tell if I am in the flag mode. There needs to be a color indicator, or some other positive way to tell if the flag mode is activated.
The app is very nice for the iPad with the exception of the interface. The boxes are small and cannot be enlarged or expanded. This makes the games somewhat tedious and results in hitting a mine based on finger size and losing a game where much thought and elimination of empty squares has occurred.
Unless i am misunderstanding the rules, Ive lost my last three games due to faulty numbers. Im emailing you a screen shot of the most recent board faulty board.
